Christmas Kettle Campaign - Last Week Update!
Today marks the official last day of the Christmas Kettle Campaign and on behalf of all of the staff at The Salvation Army, we’d like to thank each and every one of you for the countless hours you have dedicated to the campaign and to your community.
We’re still below the $310,000 mark, but we’ve taken the necessary steps to ensure we have the best possible chance of reaching and hopefully surpassing this year’s goal. Through the implementation and development of our Digital Device Project (Read More Below) and by airing some of the highlights of the campaign on local media stations, we hope to remain top of mind in preparation for the coming days.
Fortunately, we are still anticipating more donations over the course of next week. As mentioned, we are still accepting donations until the 31st by cheque (post-dated before Dec.31st) at our Kingston Citadel location or you can call 613-548-1600 ext. 154. If you or anyone you know is interested in donating to the Kettle Campaign, please click HERE.
Digital Device Status Update
Since its introduction mid-way through the campaign, we have seen the Digital Device Pilot Project perform successfully time and time again at various locations. We hope to grow the digital device project for next year’s campaign. This is an exciting addition to the Salvation Army that allows us to offer alterntaive and convienent methods to donate. Thank you to all who participated in the project, and we look forward to continuing it in the years to come.

This year's Kettle Team set out to grow the influence and reach of the campaign on Kingston and the surrounding area, and to begin implementing new and exciting strategies that can be used and improved upon for years to come. We know that none of this would be possible without members of the community like yourselves.
Please be safe when travelling this time of year. We look forward to seeing you all again for next years Kettle Campaign!
On behalf of the Salvation Army, and the Christmas Kettle Team we wish you all a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
